Diabolos, devil sticks, clubs, spinning plates... girds and cleeks, whips and peeries… not to forget sack races and stocks…Jim at Spark in the Dark has done his homework and is all set up to make us discover games and activities our ancesters used to play 500 years ago. |
Hungry! How about a delicious hog roast roll or maybe a warm jacket potato....
Thirsty…? Light refreshments and home baking will be available for a small donation. . For those with a sweet tooth, Sweet Memories will also be offering a wide range of their best traditional sweets. |

On this special day, St Mary’s Aisle will open its doors to the public. This church, built in 1386, is recognized as a Category A listed building. St Mary's Aisle is the Mausoleum of the Lockhart family, and previously of the Earls of Carnwath and the Lords Somerville.
